With two high-profile websites and a suite of brands under their belt, MMSG required a flexible partner who could offer support and advice as they developed their digital strategy and built out their internal capability, while also delivering digital assets for their leading brands.
As an ASX-listed company, MMSG operates eight brands under their umbrella, including their two flagship brands Maxxia and RemServ. While the majority of the MMSG websites are built and maintained internally, the Maxxia and RemServ websites are reliant on complex web services that were handed to Doghouse for design and development.
End-to-end Digital Service
The Maxxia and RemServ platforms deliver comprehensive services to their clientele, offering an integrated experience for arranging novated leases with a primary focus on automotive packages. A significant part of this service delivery includes the provision of interactive conversion tools such as finance calculators, which aid users in assessing their purchasing capacity and total cost of ownership.
Over the past seven years, Doghouse has been intricately involved with MMSG to help bolster their digital strategy. From service design to infrastructure support, MMSG tapped into our expertise in providing comprehensive digital solutions to address their dynamic enterprise demands.

Thanks to our team of cross-functional experts, we’ve been in a position to play an advisory role, guiding UX work, providing infrastructure advice and ensuring code from the internal MMSG team is compliant and meets Drupal’s best practice guidelines.

Building Capacity and Functionality with New Projects
API
Doghouse engineered an advanced JSON API as a superior alternative to pre-existing MMSG web services. Primarily tailored for managing calculator computations integral to client services and website conversion, it was architecturally optimised for scalability, ensuring compatibility with future applications including mobile and internal platforms.
This API exhibits a modular design, facilitating standardised endpoint expansion and leveraging the functionality inherited from established endpoints.
Calculators
Building from the API, on the Drupal front end of both Maxxia and RemServ websites, Doghouse implemented a single page application. Based on the user’s selection, this application sends complex queries to the API, and provides the user with information regarding novated lease repayment amounts.
In Phase 2 of the project, complex conditional logic was implemented. This allowed MMSG to capture the information required to present users with accurate information while minimising user search. This also ensured accurate lead generation and helped facilitate user search queries.
Dynamic 365 Integration
Doghouse extended the current webform functionality and posted webform submissions through to Dynamics. As a result, all submissions are queued within Drupal, and posted to the API on predefined intervals. Only successful submissions are cleared from the queue, therefore performance impacts are reduced and submissions do not go astray.
Adobe Analytics Data Layer
Doghouse implemented sitewide functionality for data layer content monitoring and content interaction tracking. In addition, Single Page Application (SPA) interaction and usage tracking was also implemented.
For this, we emphasised the tracking of user interaction with forms, in order to capture leads and develop a better understanding of when forms are abandoned. This will lead to improved conversion rates, insights into lead generation and opportunities to improve within the application.
In one of the most important projects to date, we have transformed the existing Marketplace functionality. From a series of static content pages, the new Marketplace is a SPA-type “hub” that has facilitated better engagement between MMSG and their users.
Featuring configurable components and a powerful search functionality, the Marketplace helps users quickly find the content they are looking for, shows related content whenever possible and encourages users with a CTA to get in touch if they can’t find what they’re looking for.
MMSG's Strategic Partnership with Doghouse
The relationship between MMSG and Doghouse illustrates the powerful benefits of working with a partner who has the skills and experience to help your organisation flourish.
By leveraging the cross-functional expertise of the Doghouse team, MMSG were able to take their digital strategy to new heights, developing the capacity to manage their infrastructure and BAU internally, all while growing and evolving their digital assets and delivering on customer expectations.
