We are searching for a Content Marketer who fundamentally understands the success of our products is achieved through a content-driven user experience. You will embrace being responsible for the creation, development and management of our entire business’s brand message.
Success in this role requires creative flair and an understanding of how to produce, position and promote content to reach a global target audience. You will be a great storyteller with strategic purpose who has the writing skills to back it up.
Our business has reached an exciting stage of its growth, as we expand from an open source web agency to a SaaS product development company requiring strategic support through user-focused copywriting.
We offer flexible working conditions and this role may be suited to part time, full time or contract applicants. The only proviso is that you are able to work at our Perth CBD office when required.
Work directly with technical and experience design leads on product development, support and marketing
Create supporting product documentation such as product manuals, help guides and customer success stories
Assist our executives with responding to requests for work, including private and public sector tenders
Assist our product owners with market research, including product and competitor analysis
Drive engagement with our online communities, including partner networks and open-source programs
Work with our HR Manager to develop our company narrative to support recruitment initiatives
Lead PR initiatives including press opportunities, product announcement and EDM campaigns
Work with our search vendor to monitor and track the success of our digital campaigns
We believe success in this role will likely be achieved by individuals with:
+5 years’ experience with creating exceptional user-focused copy
Experience working with technical and creative product owners / teams
The ability to comprehend technical concepts (open-source frameworks, cloud based architecture) and build supporting material
The ability to build data-driven content and marketing strategies
Experience with marketing automation platforms (preferred, but not essential)
Digital consultancy or client side experience with technical teams preferred
Ability to self-manage and prioritise tasks
